The Song's Complete!

Our Googledocs collaboration, a song to the tune of "Norwegian Wood" is now complete. I'll be recording this over the next week and will put up an .mp3 here for your listening enjoyment (or otherwise :). Check out the lyrics! Check out the recorded version (apologies to Lennon and McCartney)!

Reading over the blog of the workshop inspired me. I checked out VoiceThread, which looks very useful for some class projects. I'm also looking forward to working with Gcast at some point. The workshop as a whole must have been exhausting, with so many tools to consider and so many possible uses in the classroom.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the tools are popping up so fast that it's impossible to keep track? I'm wondering if we'll always be in such a state of movement, or whether there will be some that become default standards in a year or two. I'm also finding it interesting to see the different viewpoints on what Web2.0 means.

Wow, thank you Mary Ann, for those astute comments. Very true, it was exhausting, but not tiring. It went well beyond my most optomistic expectations. I'm working on a video from Friday "shareshares," so stay tuned. :)
